Created in 2025, continuing the mission & vision of Tango in Paradise which was established in 2011.

Ragam Seni Kreasi is an Art production house focusing in creating a mix culture or cross tradition of art.

The passion for tango has grown steadily across Indonesia. In major cities and popular destinations such as Bali, Jakarta, and Surabaya, tango studios and clubs have continued to emerge, reflecting a lively and ever-expanding community. What began as Tango in Paradise was founded in Bali in 2012 by Ratih Soe Kosasie, who had already been actively organizing tango events since 2008. As the community grew, Tango in Paradise naturally evolved into Tangonesia, a platform created to connect the Indonesian tango scene with the wider international tango world. Bali, often called “The Last Paradise,” remains at the heart of this movement, where tango continues to thrive through the passion, creativity, and dedication of its community. Over the years, numerous performances, workshops, and tango gatherings have been held regularly by various organizers.

In 2022, Tangonesia (formerly Tango in Paradise) received official recognition from the Coordinación de Relaciones Institucionales, Festivals de Buenos Aires y Usina del Arte, Ministerio de Cultura, Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, and was appointed to host the Indonesia Championship Preliminaries (ICP) in Bali. Building on this important milestone, we are proud to present “Tango in Bali” a combined event that brings together the Indonesia Championship Preliminaries (ICP) and the Tangonesia Festival, uniting competition and celebration into one continuous tango experience.

WHY BALI ?

Bali island is commonly referred to as The Island Of Thousands Temples, The Island of Gods, and Bali Dwipa. Bali also several small islands that are included in the province of Bali, including the island of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan Island, Nusa Ceningan island, Serangan Island and Menjangan Island.

The stunning beaches are probably the most obvious reason to visit this tropical paradise in Indonesia archipelago. Each beach has its own charm, from soft white sand and limestone cliffs to extreme water sports and diving.
